The Joint admission and Matriculation Board has declared that the used of email would presently don’t be needed for the processing of registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry.
The Registrar and Chief executive of JAMB, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, said this while talking with journalists on Tuesday evening.
As indicated by him, email would just be requested after the successful registration of the exercise by candidates to get data on the examination.
He said, “As from Thursday, April 15, 2021, applicants will presently don’t be needed to give any email address during enrollment.
“Subsequently, candidates will have the following options to get to their profile during or after enrollment.
a) Mobile APP on the candidate’s Phone
b) On the 55019 alternative (being designed) for instance admission status checking, acceptance of admission and so on their profile.
c) Printing of JAMB examination slip (Notification) or Result notification slip or ticketing should be done anywhere using the candidates JAMB registration number only
(b) Sending the word email (space then the email address) on his/her enlisted phone to 55019.
“The email is composed twice for correctness (Email addresses will be entered twice for approval and prevention of typographical errors.”
